The Lance is currently looking to fill some staff positions:

Business Manager: As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finance department of Windsor’s only weekly newspaper. The duties include: drafting and mailing invoices, pursuing outstanding invoices and bad debt and maintaining office supplies. General knowledge of accounting required.
Advertising Manager: As the Advertising Manager, you will be responsible for generating advertising revenue on a weekly basis. You will be self-motivated and charismatic will a natural ability to close the deal. You will also act as a liaison between the client and the newspaper including the designer and production manager. A base salary and commissions pay this position.
Multimedia Editor: This is a newly created position that requires a creative and witty thinker with a keen eye for quality and a great sense of humour. The Multimedia Editor will be primarily responsible for creating video content for our online component of The Lance. The successful candidate will have, apart from the previously stated, some video editing experience (additional training will be provided), experience on the Macintosh platform, and fantastic time management skills with a strict adherence to deadlines as well as a shared vision of the future of online media.
